Nour Foundation’s Da’am (Support) Project continues with its courses and activities
Nour Foundation aims at supporting disadvantaged women and helping them in establishing their micro projects.
This usually begins by teaching them different professions and providing them with job opportunities within safe spaces where their rights are completely respected and protected.
Women then can have their potentials highlighted in spite of the current difficult economic conditions.
Da’am (Support) Project primarily aims at the empowerment of women and youth through the services it provides in its centers.
One of the trainers at the Nour WGSS in Al Hussainieh said addressing the trainees,
“You can work, instigate change and be independent.”
It’s worth noting that Nour WGSS in Al Hussainieh provides awareness sessions in various fields and works to secure a safe and supportive space for women, under the slogan “Strong Woman, Strong Society” with the support of the UNFPA.
