Final Debate Tournament at Jadal Debate Club- Nour WGSS- Sehnaya.

As part of the “A Few Minutes for A Lifetime Campaign” on the early detection of breast cancer, Jadal Debate Club at Nour WGSS concluded with a debate on the topic of “Breast Cancer” to be the main topic for the final two teams who were left competing for the finale under the supervision of coach Isam Shaalan.

The trainer worked through a range of activities to improve the beneficiaries’ speech skills and body language. He also trained them on how to listen well to their opponents and identify weaknesses in their arguments.

“Breast cancer is another battle to be added to the battles of women around the world to prove their ability and entitlement to life, love, support and health,” said one of the attendees. “Throughout the centuries, women have always been the main support for their family members and thus they deserve all our support and respect to help them overcome this disease.”

“A healthy lifestyle, avoiding smoking or using hormone medications without a medical supervision can be an important preventive factor,” said another beneficiary.

It is noteworthy that “Jadal Women’s Debating Club” was founded with the aim of achieving community development and empowerment of all segments of society especially women.
