1239 Beneficiaries of Medical Mobile Teams’ Services within Najha Collective Shelter in One Week

Nour Foundation for Relief and Development– The Medical Project

Nour’s medical mobile teams provided services to 1239 beneficiaries in the collective shelter of Najha within one week.

Nour Foundation operates 2 mobile teams ,each consists of an internist, a obstetrician-gynecologist, a pediatrician, two nurses, and an administrator, to provide the necessary services to Najha Collective shelter residents.

During the first week, 1239 beneficiaries benefited from the services provided by the two teams as follows:
General Internal Medicine: 665 beneficiaries
Ob-Gyn Medicine: 129 beneficiaries
Pediatrician Medicine: 445 beneficiaries

The two teams dispensed the needed medication (antibiotics, painkillers, Ob-Gyn drugs, and insulin injections) for free to the beneficiaries. The teams also dispensed anti lice products and petroleum jelly. In Addition, they referred a 59 year-old man with an atrial fibrillation attack , and a 2 year-old with dehydration to hospitals.

It is worth mentioning yet again that the mobile teams are still working diligently on delivering the necessary medical and psychosocial support services to residents of collective shelters.
